2010 Hyundai Accent Cylinder Misfire

Asked by GuruV6X89 Sep 12, 2018 at 11:26 AM about the 2010 Hyundai Accent

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Cylinders 2 and 4 started misfiring in my Hyundai
Accent. All spark plugs have been changed, all
coils have been changed and the fuel injection
system has been cleaned. A leak in the gasket has
been fixed as well. My car is still misfiring. The
dealer I went to suspects an ECU problem. My
mechanic friend wants to put a new O2 sensor in
and reset the computer to see what happens. What
do y'all think?

O2 sensor won't cause a miss, you cleaned the injectors but do they work? Check injectors resistance, I don't know the specifications but if you compare readings with a working injector you should be alright if o.k. Do a compression test to rule out a mechanical problem
