Asked by Keamyrr Sep 11, 2010 at 10:32 AM about the 2000 Honda Accord

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am trying to replace the passenger side headlight bulb but the bulb holder is
stuck and won't turn counterclockwise so that I can pull it out.  Any suggestions?

maybe spray some lube or somthin on the socket. itll come out, it just takes alot of force

Usually, the bulb will not turn until the plastic wiring socket is removed -- once the plastic socket is removed, the bulb turns easily. For me, the hardest part was removing the plastic socket. You have to apply pressure near the wire end of the socket. This moves a latch so that the socket slides off the bulb end. Squeezing and pulling can require a lot of finger strength.
