2000 Ford Explorer putt putting n stalling

Asked by Melissa Dec 02, 2018 at 12:30 PM about the 2000 Ford Explorer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My explorer has always started up
rough but after letting it run a while it
runs fine. Now it’s pity putting real
bad when I crank it. Sometimes I
have to crank it several times to keep
it running then once I start driving at a
star Drive I find that all of a sudden
it’s snatches or jumps and then ask
like it’s not trying to excel and then a
put put Robert and I finally affiliate
the gas go through then a drive on for
a little while longer than to do it again
when I’m at the light issue except
there is if it’s going to cut off
sometimes it cuts off but not always
and then I’ll put it in neutral and crank
it right back up and then go drive a
little while longer . I’ve had the spark
plugs changed there’s nothing
showing up when the mechanic put it
on machine what is wrong

try a different mechanic ,if it's running that bad something has to be at fault , plug wires , coils ? ?

My mechanic did tell me to try a fuel injectors cleaner but I didn’t think that would help a problem this big.
