High idle after changing tps

I changed the TPS in my 2000 ford explorer
with 2 different TPS & now it's idling at about
3000 RPM while in park & nuetral & about
2000 rpm when in drive or reverse.. Please
help!!

The idle will probably have to be relearned. The idle air control motor is on the intake behind the throttle body It is an aluminum housing with a cylindrical electrical motor attached. It will have a connector with two wires and a large black hose connected to it going to the air intake tube. Check to make sure that everything is connected to it properly. If you pull the black hose off the Idle air control and plug it with your finger and the idle comes back to normal it will need a relearn. you need a scan tool for this.
