Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My passenger door will not stay closed on my 1996 Dakota. I took apart the inside panels but cannot determine why the latch will not close. Does anyone know where I can get a pdf view of the latch assembly so I can try and correct the issue?

well i work at a dodge dealer so let me think about this one.....I'm guessing the latch is broken, and generally you cant really get the parts separate for the latch it comes as an assembly. So what id do is go to a dodge dealer with the last 9 of the vin and i would see what they offer for parts. Probably going to be the whole latch though. Hope that helps

Thank you Fred - What you propose sounds like the way I need to go... Figured it was an all inclusive part but thought I would give it a try...
