Can anyone tell me the emission sticker number for a 2004 Dodge Dakota, 6
cyl, 5 speed manual, quad cab truck? My number was rubbed off and I need to
replace the catalytic converters so my truck can pass smog here in Los
Angeles.

I have an 05 Dakota Quad Cab SLT with 3.7L (V6) and it has a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. When I start excellerating from a stop, the truck RPM shifts smoothly through first two gears then it quickly shifts through third to fourth gear which causes truck to bog down. I have press on gas pedal little harder and it shifts back into third and picks up speed then shift into fourth around 48 mph. Is there any computer program for transmission that can change the RPM shift point in the transmission. 2 Answers
