Will the wrong size tires cause the transmissiom speed sensors to malfunction

Thank you for your helpful advice. Did not know transmissions had speed sensors. Speed sensor malfunction was listed as one of the possible causes for my car to run rough. Symptoms; slugging, popping, considerable loss of power during excelleration. I hope changing my fuel filter solves my problem
