Can remove AC Compressor pulley without damaging motor?

I’m currently a 6 hr drive away from home
and there’s no garages available. A bearing in
the AC Unit has bust and when the AC
Compressor Pulley spins it’s making a metal
on metal horrible noise.  Can I cut and
remove the AC Compressor Pulley without
damaging anything else?

If the AC belt only operates the AC all you need to do is remove the belt. If it operates something else then you have a problem. Based on the diagram you posted you can safely remove the AC belt and drive the car. +1 for looking up the diagram!

Cut the stretch belt. You’ll be fine. Common on your car that the compressor grenades. Seen it many times. Disconnect the connector on top of the compressor too

You can also remove the AC relay in the engine compartment fuse box, this box is passenger side by the brake master cylinder. Diagram on inside of the fuse box cover shows the position of the AC relay
