can i remove cruise control fuse to stop the light?

nothing wrong with engine ,just want the darn blinking cc and check engine light off. I already know the temp. fix. what I want to know is where is cruise fuse and can I remove it . never used it anyway!  This is a 2007 automatic .was used when purchased they put wrong booklet in glove box. 2008 is not the same diagram as 2007.

HOW LONG AGO DID YOU BUY IT....WAS THE CEL ON THEN...OK SO WHAT ARE THE CODES? MIGHT BE ANEASY FIX...BEFORE YOU GET OUT THE BLACK TAPE...

Buy a manual for your car at www.helminc.com or download one. Get the car repaired to properly extinguish the warning lamps.

Disconnect the negative cable on the battery for 5 minutes. It will reset the computer. By warned though that your radio will most likely need a code to unlock it after disconnecting battery
