did you fill the transmission and check the level when you were done

Did it move before? Why did you have the pan off in the first place? You could undo a trans. Cooling line and start the vehicle momentarily to see if you got pressure.

yes we put 5 quarts in and it did drive before i put the pan on it was leaking thats why i put a new pan and filter on
