ok car gurus here we go RR head gaskets on 04 300m

RR head gaskets stared car had lifter noise I let it run for area mins still a
noise came in next morning started car no noise test drove car fine shut it off
couple of hours. Started it up again lifter noise again but now over heated.
Water pump,timing belt and thereomstst was replaced what's with the lifter
noise? Why is it over heating,
