Red oil light

Hey guys I have a 2008 BMW e90 320i it's now on
330k kilometers n I recently rebuild my n46 engine
drove for a week bt now it's showing the red oil
light after 2 kilometers and when I check oil level
it's near max level what could be the problem cos I
found bits of oil in the coolant bottle. Please help

What oil light? There are two. There is one with the waves underneath the oil can or one without? The one with the waves is a low oil condition. The other one means you have an oil pressure issue. If you have oil in your coolant, I suspect the a head gasket. Did you have that issue before the rebuild?
