Ford wont srart

Asked by GuruZD667 Oct 10, 2017 at 08:47 PM about the 2002 Ford Ranger

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have 02 ford ranger. It was
working yesterday, but wont start this
morning. Used a jumping cable, after
it worked, and of the day today same
thing happened. Could be the
battery?

1 Answer

Sure sounds like it is your battery. Is it the original? There should be a date code on the top, sometimes its a hole punch out on the date listed on top. You would expect the battery to last 5 years if your lucky maybe a little longer. If you need a new one, look at a INTERSTATE Mega-Tron Plus. You can google it for a dealer near you.
