2011 Ford Ranger automatic wont go in drive or reverse

I have a 2011 Ford Ranger automatic 4x4 it will not drive in
forward or reverse but it will drive in 2nd and 1st gear in
drive and reverse it just revs up to 4000 RPMs

Sounds like a internal transmission failure.
