Cadillac won't start

My dash started smoking then my dash tweaks out like it
has mind of own so I went to junk yard got new cluster
dash now won't start ??

More likely is it destroyed its ECM or similar component, not the dash gauge cluster. While I don't agree with dhs053's diagnosis of over heating, he may be right in that you would benefit from taking the car to someone that has the tools to read and diagnose your problem.
