Hi everyone, I put in a aftermarket stereo in my 2002 mustang and when i turn the car off everything turns off including the radio, but the back light to the radio stays on? ive installed several radios before and double checked everything, any ideas of what could be causing this? theres no power to anything except for the back light to the radio, it hasn't caused my battery to be dead but its only been a few days, thanks!

I recommend contacting the company that produced the aftermarket radio. Sounds like your dimmer / illumination (Orange or Orange/White) wire is powering it. As long as you confirm your light switch is off, I'd say the issue is with the radio. Try another radio if you have one available.
