i have a 2000 ford mustang v6 guages went crazy when i backed up and the car died, put it park - restarted it. ran fine till i put in drive, guages bounced between max and minimum then it died again and now will not start. the remote trunk key chain - when i push to unlock the trunk or any of the other functions make the relays click under the dash. so is it my relays or something else

It sounds like an electrical problem set off by movement of the car. Check your battery cables and grounds for looseness. Might be a battery or alternator problem too. Then scan for codes for more clues. Tell us what you find.

the car still turns over but doesn't start , and i have power for starting but all buttons on that keychain alarm and trunk unlock don't work other than the internal relays clicking, no dome lights either but juice to turn motor over. meaning - if it were just a loose connection it would have jumped circuit and not turned over, my car always started quickly
