The best option is to have someone with a diagnostics tool clear the codes. Otherwise pulling the positive battery cable off for a few minutes could also clear it. However this can erase presets and may cause problems with your security system.

I unplugged my positive side battery for about five minutes and it was all cleared awesome send me a bunch of money. I didn’t have to go to Geico
