It could be a few things. Here... Ill list them... vehicle win module aka ( wireless ignition node ) dead key fob battery, broken key fob, broken door lock actuator, actuator electrical pin connector, actuator wiring. Good luck!

I changed the battery first with no improvement. Trunk button worked...I decided to take the key fob apart. After removing the battery I pulled the board out of the casing and flipped it over to look at the contacts. The trunk contact and panic were fairly clean but the lock and unlock were not clean so, using a pencil eraser I cleaned the copper contacts and what look like trails from those contacts. On the back side of the push buttons I cleaned the black disks that make contact with the copper contacts. Put the fob back together and Voila, the fob now works.
