$1500 to $2000 depending on where you take it and which engine you have.

4.0? SOHC? The big question right now is spending the 1600 bucks now then having the either cam guide go out somewhere down the road. If the rear goes out, the engine has to be removed from the vehicle to replace. You may want to price a remanufactured engine if you have the 4.0 V6. If the cost of current repair is 2 grand, another grand will get you a reman engine plus installation.
