Does Timing belt failure on Corsa Utility 1.4 cause bent valves

Does the CorsaUtility 1.4 have a non interference engine?
The timing  belt broke on mine

If it is truly a non interference engine then the valves should be fine. In all my years I have only seen one non interference engine bend valves when the timing belt broke, he had just hit redline on the tach when the belt came apart.
