Any time saving suggestions

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The blend actuator for a/c need replacing.    Fortunately it's stuck on "cold" so there is no hurry.  I know where it is, I just do not look foward to removing almost the entire dash to replace a 40 buck part.  I can manage removing two of the three screws holding the thing in with just taking the left hand side of the center console out.  The one in the back appears to be the problem.  Any shortcut suggestions.

unfortunatly there is no shortcut to doing the job in question it is a pain in the arse but you have to litterly have to strip the dash to get at it regards j.s autos

The service information does say to remove the dash. But I have done these without removing the dash. It is by no means easy and you will probably swear more than once. You have to find the right tools to snake in there and cram yourself under the dash its not fun but it can be done good luck.
