Can't start my baby

Asked by fairlane500 Jul 25, 2011 at 09:50 PM about the 1964 Ford Fairlane

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After replacing all battery cables, ground straps, solenoid, battery and starter, I still
can't get my baby started. Everything is new and free of debris. Could anyone give
me some info on what else I can try to get back on the road?

BAD CONDENSER OR POINTS GROUNDED OUT . DO YOU HAVE ELEC IGNITOR IF SO IT COULD BE BAD IF YOU LEFT KEY ON OVER 15- 30 SECONDS WITHOUT STARTING IT BURNS ELEC IGNITOR OUT IF DONT HAVE SPECIAL REISTOR WIRING FOR ELE IGNITOR????.
