Can't start my baby
Asked by fairlane500 Jul 25, 2011 at 09:50 PM about the 1964 Ford Fairlane
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
After replacing all battery cables, ground straps, solenoid, battery and starter, I still
can't get my baby started. Everything is new and free of debris. Could anyone give
me some info on what else I can try to get back on the road?

BAD CONDENSER OR POINTS GROUNDED OUT . DO YOU HAVE ELEC IGNITOR IF SO IT COULD BE BAD IF YOU LEFT KEY ON OVER 15- 30 SECONDS WITHOUT STARTING IT BURNS ELEC IGNITOR OUT IF DONT HAVE SPECIAL REISTOR WIRING FOR ELE IGNITOR????. TRY CONDENSER FIRST. HAVE TO HAVE POINTS WIRES ON CORRECT OR WILL NOT START////
