Acura 05 TL 160k miles or Infiniti G35Coupe 150k miles ???? NEED HELP

Asked by Imran May 07, 2016 at 03:53 AM about the 2005 Acura TL

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Hi everyone? I am looking to buy a car as i newly moved to Pensacola!
I'm looking to spend 6 grand on it.
Here, I have two options as shown in the question Acura TL 2005 with 160000
miles on it and the Infiniti that has 150000 miles on it.. both are nearly the
same price! The Acura has been newly maintained (like a month ago) and the
owner has a receipt that states he spent $1500 to fix everything. I am confused
on which would be a better option in terms of maintenance drive and resale
value. Please advise me what should i do in such situation ? If anybody has a
better car for sale let me know OR if you suggest any other ride better than
those i listed! Thanks in advance, Cheers.
(Advises from experts would be highly appreciated)

Take the Acura, better running car and has maintenance records that has just been completed. Make sure you have a mechanic look it over before the final purchase.

Acura is front wheel drive and the Infiniti is rear wheel drive if that makes any difference. Both these cars have enough miles on them that I would be worried about expensive repairs to the transmission. The Acura might have a slight edge in the reliability department. Also the Acura 2005 TL has the best factory sound system of any car I have heard to this date. I personally would look for a lower mileage vehicle, but being the Acura has had all its issues fixed, I would pick it in this situation.
