As asked in my earlier question, I have decided to go for a Acura instead of
Infiniti. I wanna know would it be a good decision to buy the Acura 2005 TL
with 160000 miles for $6000 ? (Recently maintained well condition)

Acura, a luxury brand of honda should theoretically maitain the latters reliability. In any case, honda parts are comparitively expensive and so, I would as for the bills of the works done on the car. And doing some research of known issues on repairpal as well. And then ofcourse, its always a gamble with a used car, be it 28,000 or 128,000. Good luck

I would say it will last at least 200K miles without very major repair, then you will have some residual value. Any car new or used is a gamble. But Acuras are good and reliable cars. I bought one in 2007 -now 70k miles, no problem, changed brakes, tires, oil, battery etc usual maintenance items.
