Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm working on a 1979 Chevrolet el camino
it has shorts in it and cut wires and melted
wires and just messed up wires I was
replacing wires that go to the lights in the
bumper and I was looking at the wires in
the dash well before I started doing that
the horn the key buzzer the dash lights the
floor lights and the headlights worked I just
hooked the battery back up and tried the
lights and nothing is working

I would install a new wiring harness if available. Check with Painless.
