2020 Honda Passport Reviews, Pricing & Specs

I’m a car guy first and a Honda fan boy second. I’m currently in need of a newish vehicle so I can Uber. I have 2 Honda already a 2005 CRV and a 2006 Element. Both are great cars but have aged out of Ubers guidelines so a Passport may be in my future. The size of the Passport is great it holds 5 passengers comfortably and lots of room for luggage in the back. The height of the vehicle is comfortable to get in and out. During the test drive the engine was strong but the 9 speed transmission was a little laggy but did get the job done once it woke up. This is a known issue that Honda addressed with the newer 10 speed transmission update. My other nit pick is the infotainment system is little dated. The Kia Sorento of the same year has a way better display and GUI. Those 2 gripes aside I do think there will be a Honda Passport in my driveway this week.

Like that the engine is V6 and it is good value.

I love this car! It is definitely a great value. Even the basic trim package has great features. It is pretty much the same as the Honda pilot but without the third row. Its incredibly roomy, so comfortable, and drives smoother than any other suv I drove.

I test drove an Elite and it has a smooth ride, nice features and user friendly too. I am not sure it is worth the value now with the car prices being inflated due to the chip shortage but if it were a few thousand less, then yes definitely worth the value. I was impressed with the quality of the interior and space. The engine is a little loud when you hut the gas but other than that great suv.

Have owned for only a week, but travel has included an 8 hour trip. Super comfortable, ride is smooth, dashboard well lit , spacious,…couldn’t be happier after week 1

The passport has the space of the Pilot without the 3rd row seating. The sport has better mileage and drives smooth. I have a husband and two growing boys, and the car fits us perfect!

I am about to buy one because it can pull 4000 like a pickup, nice to rice like a car, put the seats down and haul lumber or kayaks or ? in the back. Cargo in the back can be locked up and protected from the weather. and get 20+ miles to the gallon like no pickup can do. On top of that get a great resale value...better than a ford or chevy pickup. What could you not like about a passport.

The Honda Passport is loaded with so many safety features and toys. I think the only disadvantage is that it is a large SUV but one of a few with V6 engine.

Good value. I think the sport edition should come with power seats.

I normally buy Hondas. I have owned two Pilots. Looking at a Passport but after reading about all the electrical issues people are having with defective electrical connectors, having to tear out the dash boards and the nightmare stores I am no longer considering a Passport.
