July 26, 2022Love the 2019 Outback so much we bought two! -Pros include: interior comfort, smooth ride over all terrain (including highway construction and potholes), ground clearance for road debris, engine power and responsiveness, real world 30MPG fuel economy, many amazing high tech safety features including adaptive cruise control, apple car play and intuitive dash controls, great harmon kardon stereo system, smooth shifting CVT transmission, cabin roominess and lots of space in cargo area. -Cons include: the exterior finish is extra sensitive to light scratching, the bare metals under the hood and in out of the way places (eg, door jamb) appear especially sensitive to corrosion, the engine will use one quart of oil between changes-- if you drive more than approximately 6,000 miles between oil changes prepare to add engine oil. Overall, the 2019 Outback is extraordinarily fun to drive, up to any task (urban, rural, trail, snow, rain and high speed highway driving), amazingly comfortable and surprisingly economical-- I highly recommend!
