2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS Reviews, Pricing & Specs

Please test the Harmon Kardon speakers! Tested three 2018-2019 GLS 63 AMG vehicles with HK systems, and used the same songs on each to explore the range. Two of the vehicles tested had blown/damaged speakers. One was in the front, the other in the rear. One was absolutely perfect, but that car didn’t have the options required. Bummer. Watch the center line on the steering wheel. The only one I drove was off center and had a slight lean to the right. There was a significant turbo lag as well. Once it got moving it was great, but stopping was spongy. The salesperson blamed it on everything possible. New brake pads in a break in period, they turned the rotors (I’ve heard you are supposed to replace them if drilled), or anything else he could change the subject to. The 2019 SUV had 19k miles on it in 2024. Seats worn on edges, and were also sweaty after getting out of them. Having had these type of seats for many years, it was very unusual. Weather was dry and 72 degrees. Maybe it was just this car. It was serviced by a Cadillac dealer. They said it had gone through full reconditioning! Haha. This dealer thinks this car is worth $68,900, but they are crazy. I’d rather buy a car with more miles that had been through all of the repairs during the warranty period. Mar 21, 2024
