2017 GMC Terrain Reviews, Pricing & Specs

What owners say
"Overall, owners of the 2017 GMC Terrain appreciate its comfortable ride, spacious interior, and attractive design. Many highlighted the quiet cabin and smooth handling. On the downside, some drivers found the engine performance lacking, particularly when it comes to acceleration. A few also noted the absence of certain luxury features and limitations in seating capacity."
Good value vehicle. Like the combination of AWD and 4-cylinder
June 24, 2026Yeah ... it was a good value for the milage. My only complaint is that our car has this foul smell of freshly changed baby diapers even after taking it to car wash for detailed cleaning.
June 8, 2026I compare my 2017 Terrain Denali to my sister's Cadillac. It rides just as nice, and has many of the same features. I'm very pleased.

May 2, 2026Great value. Great ride. Looks really good, roomy and comfortable. Feels strong and rugged yet smooth.
July 11, 2021Vehicle has numerous extras. Appointments are well presented. Ride is very comfortable and enjoyable. Denali models have a vast difference over standard models. Add features and sound insulation make for a much smoother and comfortable ride.
September 27, 2023The terrain is a great looking suv and a good value. I have only driven it about 200 miles but it is fun to drive with a sporty feel
September 30, 2020The ride was much better than I thought it would be. Cabin was very quiet and spacious. The control layouts were simplistic by todays standards but easy to use. The two drawbacks for what I am looking for is a relatively low ground clearance (6.9) and the 2.4L four cylinder is sluggish when accelerating to get up to speed.
February 14, 2020Wonderful SUV. Handles well. Great features and it is so pretty. Love my Terrain.
February 24, 2022I like this car because I have a hurt back and it was perfect to get in and out of.
March 7, 2020Advertsed as All Wheel Drive. Was in fact only 2 wheel drive. Also rust on rear hatch, although small but nevertheless, still there and is not just a spot but actually beginning to swell.
