What owners say
"Owners generally appreciate the 2013 Ford Transit Connect for its versatility and cargo space, making it a great choice for various uses. However, many drivers express disappointment over the lack of all-wheel drive, which they find especially important in areas with harsh weather. Additionally, some have noted issues with acceleration and speed, particularly when comparing older models to newer ones. Overall, it seems to serve well for those looking for a reliable cargo van but isn’t without its drawbacks."
Excellent small vehicle for residential hvac service work in the mountains
October 7, 2026It’s a great little cargo van I would buy it five times again
March 23, 2023My wife wanted this vehicle for 2 years and I declined to purchase it due to less than stellar reviews. I finally purchased the 2013 XLT Premium wagon in Mars Red, [very rare], for her and she has never been happier with any vehicle I ever bought for her. I feel this Transit Connect was the right vehicle at the right time. The 2014 Transit Connect will NOT appeal to the small commercial vehicle market as the 2010 thru 2013 has. Most complaints were of poor acceleration and top speed. Don't you know, business owners want to limit workers driving speed and also have a vehicle that stands out from the crowd for advertising. This one does both.

June 14, 2013Great in all aspects except it is missing all wheel drive. In the northern Pennsylvania area, all wheel drive is valued.
August 19, 2020The towing capability on the older models is far superior than the newer ones only problem with older models make sure you look at the roof for rust surface rust especially in Florida
May 4, 2022Car is fine , just the Radio doesn’t work .
