What owners say
"Overall, owners of the 2010 Dodge RAM 2500 are very satisfied with its performance and reliability. They particularly like its strong towing capacity and handling on long trips, as well as the ample cargo space. However, some drivers mentioned that the ride can be a bit rough, and they found the fuel economy could be better."
Im very happy with the truck. I use it as a truck. I am currently carrying my personal gang box and a ladder in the bed. In the future I will haul gravel and other things.
April 23, 2020The stock powerwagon from Ram comes with the following standard options. Comes with the 5.7 liter Hemi ONLY It has 4.56 final axle gear ratio. 3:1 limited slip in the back with electric locker. Open with electric locker in the front. 2" factory lift with "32.5" tall tires Electric disconnecting sway bar on the front axle. Warn 12,000lb winch behind the bumper. Full steel skid plate on the gas tank and steel tubular rock sliders under the rest of the truck Only available as a SLT from 2005 to 2011 with manditory cab lights. Added ST and Laramie trims for 2012. Side mounted rock sliders on the '05, '06 and some '07's (I think). 1900 lb + payload and 10,000 lb + towing. Perfect truck for someone who likes to do some mild wheeling and also likes or needs to haul. I use mine to haul my dirtbike the wifes quad our 24' bumper pull and all the kids crap. And with 8" of lift on the camper I can hit some extreme camping areas. The added fuel cost is well worth it. It gets some looks when the winch is hanging out of the bumper. It's perfect for long term ownership. The Hemi is good to about 170k miles before it really starts costing on average. The new diesels are hit and miss, you may get a good one or a bad one. The emission control systems are choking the new diesels.
April 18, 2013I love everything about this truck. Most people dream of having sports cars when they grow up but ever since I was a little girl I always wanted a big 4WD Diesel....The Dodge part came later. By far my favorite vehicle of all time!!

August 9, 2013well the speed and acceleration on this truck is just perfect i wouldn't change a thing!!! the handling performance is spot on and responds as soon as u go to turn!! yes it really is a fun truck to drive because it has that muscle car feel with the raised back end and lower front end!!
February 9, 2011Great vehicle - Dodge continues to nail it. Its very reliable and handles outstanding for a full sized pick up. I've had dealers ask if I'd be willing to trade it in on something else and the answer is NOPE! Love it.
August 26, 2014just a touch big, the best handling long trips and hauling a trailer, good on the mud or snow, has plenty of space in the bed and can haul a big horse trailer like nothing is behind it, very pleased with it
March 15, 2015This truck will pull anything you want, is comfortable to drive even long trips, but is does not get the best fuel mileage but not terrible either (varies a lot 10-14mpg), easy to clean inside and out, very good work truck
February 26, 2012Seems good, I did put some money in it preparing it for the winter snow plowing - but that was expected. I havent really put that many miles on it to give it a good assessment.
October 16, 2023this truck is nice, had everything i needed for hauling.
February 3, 2023Dependable, good for working, reliable, little bit ruff riding.
