What owners say
"Overall, owners of the 2008 Mercedes-Benz S-Class express a strong appreciation for its luxury and performance. Drivers particularly enjoy the smooth ride, powerful handling, and impressive interior quality. However, some mention that the car can be overpriced and requires high maintenance. There’s a consensus that while it’s a fantastic car, it can be costly to own over time."
This vehicle is fully operational and drives and runs beautifully!
May 29, 2026No problems with this car, I love it. I used to own the 2006, but had to upgrade once the mileage got a little high. There is nothing that I dislike about this car. I will be upgrading again once I hit 80k miles.
July 20, 2014I drove it long time ago, when my license was fresh... And my review from then is: Nice acceleration and top speed, but it still handles like a big, heavy car. Quality - Seriously? It is a Mercedes-Benz... Cost of ownership - Definitely car for the rich. It is basically big executive car. It lacks the fun factor small race cars have.

October 27, 2011Fabulous car. Pure luxury. Smoothest ride. Worth every dollar spent. High maintenance tho .
February 26, 2022Tremendous Handling for a car of that size and excellent Gas Mileage for being an 8 cylinder,
July 26, 2022I really wouldn’t compare it to many others. It’s overpriced but you get what you pay for. Great car
November 9, 2020Nothing compares to the ride of an S63 AMG. The 550 is nice but you feel the weight and size. The AMG version provides handeling of a coupe with unlimited power. Having the power on the highway to change lanes and accelerate still impresses me 6 years later.
December 11, 2014Powerful and classy car. Turned heads with interior and exterior class. No other car compares in build quality and yet still fun to drive in any weather condition. AMG wheels add a sport edge to an already stylish stately sedan. Can't go wrong selecting an S class!
February 13, 2012The car is amazing. I have driven one in comparison to the Lexus LS. They are very close, with the ride and quite going to the Lexus. The sporty handling would go to Mercedes. I am quite certain you will not regret owning one. Best!
July 9, 2021Nice car great ride interior and exterior was excellent. Rode smooth
