What owners say
"Overall, owners of the 2008 Chevrolet Corvette love its outstanding speed, handling, and eye-catching design. Many drivers appreciate the powerful LS3 engine and the thrilling driving experience it provides. However, some found the interior quality lacking compared to other luxury sports cars and noted road noise inside the cabin. The car is viewed as a fantastic value for those wanting high performance at a relatively lower price."
Of the C4, C5 and C7, the C5 is my favorite Corvette I’ve ever owned. Went back to the classic styling and reliability. My C7 blew up the torque tube because of the 4 cylinder shutdown…recommend an override device like Range if you drive a C7. Yes, the interior of the C5 is slightly basic and aged, but I’m adding a single-DIN CarPlay touchscreen head unit to modern things up. That’s the great thing about the C5, so many aftermarket parts and goodies to upgrade the car. Last year of the pop-up headlights. I won’t list all the reasons people love the C5, I’ll just say it’s my favorite.
April 16, 2025Great car, plenty of power, great looks and value on the plus side. A little noisy when hit the power but expected. Interior not as good as some other luxury sport cars. Great bang for the buck.
March 14, 2024A kick-butt car with tight feel and performance to match. A beautiful 4LT beast

September 2, 2023What can I say? It's an amazing car, I raced it at Donnington Park with a few friends in the summer and it was amazing. Can't wait until August 2009, I'll be driving the same car from 'Coast to Coast' in America in the Gumball Rally 3000 2009. Only two drawbacks, the interior plastics sound very cheap and hollow and it's only available in left-hand drive (Which is a good case when i'm in America, but extremly difficult to drive on the U.K's streets.)
September 22, 2008Great speed mixing with luxury nice ride but not for everyday use
February 17, 2021I purchased this 2008 "VETTE" new in January 2010 for $49000.00. It's a LS3-Z51-CONVERTIBLE- with all the "BELL'S & WHISTLE'S. IT'S FAST-TOP SPEED IS 190+MPH. It has excellent acceleration, braking and handling. No repairs, squeaks or rattles at this time. As for as appearance and styling-IT's a "CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE" What more can I say other than, It's FUN to DRIVE
February 26, 2010*Exterior: Beautiful exterior, wide body, has that stealth super car appearance and slammed aggressive stance. *Interior: Interior is very classy with beautifully lighted guages, glossy carbon fiber center console and comfy leather seats. The dash is wrapped in leather too. *Performance: Tires are real thick and meaty which grip the road amazing. The engine is 7.0 liter LS7, V8, 505hp. The weight is around 2950 pounds which is unbelievably light for a car of this caliber. This car has been taken to a 10.9 sec quarter mile bone stock which is mind blowing.
August 13, 2009The fastest car that I have ever had the opportunity to drive. 0-70mph sideways in second gear, head plastered to the headrest.........enough said!
June 19, 2008It is a classic beauty with crushing performance. What else do you need?
April 28, 2008Took delivery of a black on black 2008 Z06 on 10/10/2007. Had a C5 and C6, but this is trully the 'MOTHER OF ALL CARS' It's a rocket on wheels. Proud to be an Amerian driving an American ICON.
