Najpredávanejšou značkou v regióne strednej a východnej Európy bola v prvom štvrťroku 2009 značka Škoda. S počtom 25 012 predaných vozidiel tak potvrdila svoju pozíciu trhového lídra celého regiónu. Zákaznícky najúspešnejším modelom regiónu sa stala Škoda Octavia. Za prvé tri mesiace roku 2009 sa predalo takmer 12 000 kusov tohto modelu. One of the last fully loaded Fabia vRS. Limited to a production of just a thousand released in the UK. Still has the 1900cc 130Bhp diesel engine which according to some sources has the same torque as a porsche boxster and is still mated to a six speed close ratio gearbox. Externally the shape is unchanged with it still retaining it sporty vRS looks but finished in skoda's Race Blue, bit of class is added with the addition of Slightly darker rear screen and rear passenger windows. Interior wise things have definately improved. Cloth sports seats have been replaced with very comfortable and supportive leather seats front and rear, each of the front seats have been embossed with their own production number indicating which out of the limited run of a thousand you have. When out on the road you have to contantly remind yourself that you are driving a diesel. Around the town driving it is as well behaved as a catholic choir boy but get it on an A-road and the naughty child rears it's head giving unbelieveable road holding and blistering performance urging you to use all that smooth torque to pull you out of the bends. On the motorway it gives you the feeling of a car twice the size and that power is still available with the ability to go from 50 to 70 at pace without changing out of sixth. Overall fuel economy is good, drive it responsably and with ease you will get 45+ mpg with motorway cruising speeds returning a healthy 55+ mpg but give it some beans it will drink like most other Hot Hatch's on the market. Build quality is the usual volkswagen standard and dealer back up is superb. Overall this car is a celebration of Skoda's acheviement. Anyone with the slightest amount of motor oil in their blood now realises how important this car was in Skoda's path to credibility. Every manufacturerer has a Hot Hatch but to produce one with a diesel engine was one of the wises moves every made. Skoda have now launched an all new Fabia and the new vRS is a fair way off, some have said will have a 3 cylinder supercharged diesel engine but time will tell. If you are lucky enough to have one I guarantee that you always get out of the car smiling. Wicked accceleration, good fuel economy and fun.Looks the dogs in my opinion too. Limited edition with full leather, tinted glass, multichanger cd player cruise control in one off race blue metallic. Edition number ?/1000 stamped into seat lining iis a nice touch. Too small to carry anything and any adult passengers in the back sadly. Reason its going in favour of Octavia, its larger, stronger, more powerful brother. Watch this space. My Car is A Fabia VRS, 147BHP. It has 16 inch alloys, is diamond Silver and i'm the first owner from new. I bought it straight out of the showrooom. She has sports VRS seats and sports extras including chrome interior on gear stick etc... It is brilliant on diesel and does 53 miles to the gallon! The Fabia sticks to the road like glue and i trust the car in any condition.Jul 19, 2008

I bought this car a year ago, and have had it from new. It is the Special Edition so it has full leather, cruise control, CD changer and an individual number embossed into the front seats. I've taken it through Germany and it was great, I also took it around the Nurburgring and it was great fun. The only problem I have is the size of it, but that you can live with when you put your foot down.Mar 24, 2008
