Amazing handling , happy tail even if it has front wheel motion. Gorgeous braking but playstation sense of the steering wheel. Fair enough cost of ownership and 11l / 100km gas mileage. Great fun factor , find a race track and put it in.Feb 13, 2010

well for a car of its size that pushes out 197BHP standard that aint bad and handling you would expect from a car in a lot higher price range. it looks completly different to the standard model, sure it may drink a bit but if you wanted econemy youd drive a hybrid lolAug 18, 2009

sometimes a car is more than just a ride.... I will get to go everywhere without waiting for my parents to come home.
I’ll be able to hang out a lot more and go places. Mostly I will be going over
to friends’ houses, just going over and hanging out with my friends.
Having a car . . . is like freedom...

A nice little car, got it cheap.
It's the 1.4 so it could do with some more power, but in the trafic jams to work it would not do any difference...
Would like to overhaul as there are a lot of accesories for it!Jun 22, 2009

Only a 1.2 16v sport but its nippy. If i wanted a quick car i would have got one. I have had no problems at all with this car. Appearance oh its sexy lol cause its mine! lol Its cheap as chips to run checked this all out before i got it. Got down to Manchester and back from Washington for less than £30! used to cost me that each way. I love this car and so far its been worth every penny. The main reason i choose it was the colour. Everyone has black and silver so i decided to be different.Best car i have had.Feb 02, 2009

Great motor, loves to rev and sounds really good. Amazing handling for a FWD car. Can actually get some oversteer out of it. Seats keep you planted and some of the most comfy units ever, just a pitty they are cloth. Brembo brakes superb and not a trace of fade, ever! Pretty economical if you drive moderately, and not as heavy as some if you stomp it. Great package and a unique looker. Dec 31, 2008

Very good performance, excelent brakes the best i've tried, descent handling however it being a light wight car it might be difficult to control at very high speeds.
Looks very good and not that many of them in Panama, the mileage is in 55 mpg so its good in that sense too. Parts and maintenance might be more expensive that maintstream cars considering that there at not that many around.Aug 07, 2008

Great performance from my RS 197 but built quality isn't the best. Very tight handling and 0-60 is sub 7 seconds.
I chose this ahead of the Corsa VXR as it isn't dripping with plastic body kits and can go round corners quickly.
A few bits have stopped working after a year and dealership is less than effective. Overall I love it and it makes me want a faster car.Jul 08, 2008

In 2007 I was finally free to buy the car I wanted. The love of Renault Sport had not left me since owning my original Clio 16v and there seemed only one logical conclusion. The RenaultSport Clio 197.
This car can shift. 0-60 takes 6.9 seconds. Not earth shattering but it can beat 99% of other cars I encounter away from the traffic lights. I invested in some optional extras such as folding wing mirrors, extra speakers and automatic headlights and wipers. I like his car but I makes me think of buying something really powerful next.........May 30, 2008

I didn't actually drive the Renault Clio, I drove a Nissan Platina. In Mexico Clio's are sold, but since Nissan bought Renault, they made the Platina, which is a Clio, but in sedan shape and with the Nissan logo at the front and back. Same engine, same interiors. Great, great car. I really had fun with it, and not one problem. Very Reliable and a gas saver for sure.Mar 22, 2008
