Bad brakes, radio does not work. Needs alignment. Car overheated.Feb 10, 2020

I like the look and overall ride of this vehicle, but Chrysler dropped the ball on putting defective Front Suspension and Cross members in this vehicle. NO Recall on the defective Suspension. Luckily I had Extended Warranty that covered complete replacement ! (only 40,000 miles) Just got a front Crossmember replaced under "Service Bulletin" status, that I found out from my Non Dealer Mechanic. Completely rusted out at 65,000 miles, 7 years. Don't buy a 2007 Compass, way to many Bugs that were not worked out, or admitted to by Chrysler.Nov 16, 2014

It's the perfect car for people that won't drive much, like me. Only to work, supermarket, etc. It is a really amazing price for this car. Comfortable, simple, economic you won't spend much in fuel.

Beautiful Family Car. Great for the city and the outdoors. Driving a Jeep is always a great experience. Lots of cargo space and it can take a lot of weight on the ceiling. This car will never let you down.May 21, 2014

I love my car but my family is growing and I need somthing bigger. This has without a doubt been the best vehicle I have ever owned !! If anyone is looking for an economical vehicle the compass is safe and a reliable car. It was the best decision I have made thus far vehicle wise!!Aug 14, 2011

It's a JEEP thing... Overall a good vehicle. Very utilitarian. Not the most powerful 4 banger that JEEP could come up with. Overall ok on gas. Ok for driving minus the ESP kicking in. Here's six more words, there, pooey.Jun 29, 2010

I enjoy the ride and comfort and the acceleration is better than one would think of a 4 banger. Its sounds and has no extra cost to operate other than gas oil. Fun to drive and just put new tires on at 50K. Keep up the good work Jeep !Mar 01, 2010

I love my Jeep it is fun and has plenty of room for me and my son. The gas mileage is awesome which was a huge selling point for me. It is a good car if you are short like me and have a little one.Aug 11, 2009

Dependable. Very good fuel mileage for a vehicle that has AWD and 4WD. Very roomy and comfortable for a smaller vehicle. Handles and rides like a good car. Overall, can't beat 30+ mpg and the variable valve timing is awesome. Gives me what I need when I need it. Whether it's torque or rpm or fuel mileage. It's been bang on so far. It was my girlfriends car. @ 28k mile got tons of problem. 4
cyl with 26mpg + lack of power. Not recomended jeep
vehicle. Beter go alltheway to the real jeep ( wrangler) . Just
bad, overall. Suck. ,,,suck very suck. Not good for inest,ent

Good handling with electronic stability program. Excellent factory stereo system. Good gas milage. Plenty of interior room, good head room, excellent leg room. Never had any problems in driving in rain or snow. All around a good vehicle at a reasonable price.Dec 27, 2008

Performance - Car does well for a 4 cylinder SUV with considerably great gas mileage
Build Quality - It's American...so it could be better but I like him err it?
Appearance - Nice exterior given it was a radical design on Jeep's part...front wheel drive Jeep?!

This is my wifes car, she thought it was cute. I didn't care.
The performance is pretty good for a heavy 4 cyl. The build of the car is good. It has a triptronic variable valve transmission which is supposed to have seamless shifts and will also let you shift manually, which is a decent feature.Aug 24, 2008

Great on gas, comfortable, lovely ride, heated seats, sunroof, great radio. I have enjoyed washing it, cleaning it out, taking Bear, Honey Bee, & Max for rides in it. Keith, Marie, Mama & Daddy have enjoyed riding in it. Delia, Priscilla, & Alejandra also rode in it several times. We've gone to Maggie Valley, NC, to Ghost Town in it. Some people would call this a girly jeep, because it is. Not really meant for off-roading, does not have a high enough clearance. Great for commuting, excellent mileage. Lacks in power, you're not going to beat many people off the line with this car.Feb 10, 2008

Too many people give this car a hard time. It's the first Jeep that is not Trail-Rated. I think more people need to be accepting to Jeeps new push towards a new market. I love the car, gets much better gas mileage. I would like to see an SRT version or something to give it a little kick. Dec 24, 2007
