A good everyday car... It gets me to my destination. Nothing flashy, just a car. Nice on tight parking. Perfect in the Philippines if you just go to point A to point B. Acceleration is OK for a small car like the Getz.Nov 12, 2011

I have a Getz with 1.4l engine and a manual gearbox. You may hope for the
good acceleration only after 3000 rev\min. Braking and ABS system is quite
well, I've tried switching it off by pulling out the fuse. Thus I've managed to
shorten the braking distance for 4 meters using the impulse braking technique. I
like the steering effort though the hydraulic amplifier of the sterring wheel may
have been a little bit more light-weighted.
It is quite cheap (meaning both price of the car and the maintenance) and
doesn't require frequent repairs. Well-made smart city car. Aug 25, 2010

what i like:small,fast,exterior styling,interior styling,acceleration,smooth,gas mileage,quality build,fun to drive
what i don't:non stable,bad brakes,needs to go more fast,hopping for more acceleration , handling and brakes also larger rimsOct 03, 2009

Performance is out of the world. Amazing build quality. Looks stunning. Maintanence free. The only negetive is the soft suspension which induces bad handling at times. Overall the most fun filled car to drive perfect for both city and the highways.Aug 31, 2009

I like the compactibility of the car. Whenever my mum goes to work, especially when there's traffic, we can easily go about and pass be cars... This car is fun to drive because of the fact that it is small.Jul 31, 2009

Good little car, cheap as to run and had no problems with it. Performance is not to good, only having a 1.3L engine but has decent brakes. It handles okay around corners but has no feedback and tends to under-steer at speed.

getz is fun to drive. easy to maintain, i like the interior and the exterior. i like the european version of getz. build quality is superb. specially the 1.5 crdi. price is reasonable with all the power features. good looking car specially when modify this car to edmJul 01, 2009

Rented one of these in Melbourne. It was too gutless to overtake trams, and to have a baby seat in the back, the front seat needs to be practically touching the dashboardJan 25, 2008
