What owners say
"Overall, owners of the 2006 Dodge Stratus express positive feelings about their cars, highlighting reliability, fuel efficiency, and comfort as standout features. Many appreciate its stylish design and spacious interior. However, some drivers noted issues with the automatic transmission's shifting and wished for a manual option. Overall, the Stratus seems to be a solid choice for daily commuting and occasional use."
Bought this car in 2007 and have only had to replace front brake disks and hub bearing, tires and oil. Of course the regular maintenance stuff too. Love it. It's been coast to coast and daily driver in Colorado. No major issues.
October 23, 2013I like about this car that it is great on gas, it is a very reliable vehicle, and very comfortable, and is a very safe car to drive. Is not a hard card to maintain and is great as a family car.
January 30, 2013I like the overall appearance of the car and its reliability, handling and fuel economy. Wish it had a little more get up and go but most definetly happy with it. Not the sports car I am used to driving

August 19, 2013I miss the stratus. It ran well the whole time I had it. It was quite roomy in the inside and the exterior was so fresh :) Classy and Sporty all at once. Perfect car for any type of person. d
November 3, 2009I like the sleak design. It's nice and roomie on the inside without having a huge/heavy car to drag around and deplete ur gas mileage. It also has it's good days where it gets up and going when it needs to. Great fuel efficiency for it's year. Love the engine, I beat it the hell up daily and only changed the oil once in the past year(when it was changed it wasn't even that dark and it was regular oil, not synthetic).
October 17, 2009Good looking car, definitly a good fast exccellerator. Unfortunately sometimes the gears do not shift very smoothly (it is an automatic and sometimes stutters) but definitly a good fun drive. Has a very good sound system (ofcourse you can hook up your own, but the bass is great automatically.) I would recommend the dodge stratus.
June 29, 2008I only dislike that it is not a stick but love it as it is! It looks sexy and has a very mean stance and attitude, ppl get out of the way when she is coming no matter what she looks great!
April 23, 2011For a first car owner the Dodge Stratus is a wonderful car. It provides excellant safety, great stock sound system, along with a nice performance. As for gas, it is one of the best in town. A twelve(12) gallon and awesome gas mileage is all for the Stratus!
October 21, 2009I really like this car a lot. It is very spacious for a car of this type. I didn't have many problems with it, the transmission went out in 2010, but other than that I always felt it was reliable & got good gas mileage.
