July 1, 2008This is a sports car wearing a family sedan's clothing. It flies under the radar, and it flies quickly. The steering is very quick and precise, the power is ample and addictive, the grip is phenomenal. All that in a package that can take 5 adults and their luggage on a comfortable road trip. I hear it is pretty capable in rough weather, too. Living in California, I don't get to test that claim often.
January 23, 2015Awesome build quality, paint is the best I've seen on any car, heated seats, sound system, 0-60 time is amazing, excellent handling,air bags everywhere and good braking combined with fuel efficiency and all wheel drive. What more could you want fro a family sedan?

February 9, 2013It has power and performance mixed with comfort and style. I'm 24 years old and it suits my lifestyle perfectly. I've got room to take friends with me on road trips and I've got power to hang with STi and Evo's on the expressway. The car is a sleepers dream. It's 274 factory horsepower is definitely noticeable when you want it to be. It's completely tunable and a performance bargain. These cars were so under-advertised that hardly anybody knows they're out there. The direct injection, 2.3L makes this an amazing car already, but adding the AWD and 6 speed manual to the mix really gave this car a great feel. Anybody looking for a powerful car without sacrificing comfort, definitely check into the Mazdaspeed 6.
November 26, 2012High performance, superior handling with 4WD. As Mr. Clarkson stated in TopGear: "The Mazda is the other way around, not even remotely interesting to behold but when you turn the key and go for a drive it’s . . . it’s . . . it’s just amazing. " :)
November 25, 2010I’ owned a Mazdaspeed 6 for about 5 years. Overall the car was good. There were a few minor issues but nothing major. I sold the car because I needed the money at the time. I am in the market for another Mazdaspeed 6. I really enjoyed the car. My recommendation would be to find one with a solid service history, preferably owned by someone who wasn’t racing the car and keep up with maintenance. I used 5w40 Mobil 1 synthetic oil every 3,000 miles on the car.
May 22, 2022Best car I have ever owned. Never had an issue with quality or any engine problems. The turbo 2.3L goes with the 6-speed transmission and AWD very well. This car never misses a beat and I would not rather have any other car on earth. Mazdaspeed6, the most fun car you will ever own.

March 6, 2022This car was built for luxurious performance at a good price point. 265HP out of the box ain't bad for a 2.3L turbo four. Opt for the GT variant like I did, and it is also a very comfortable highway bruiser. Build quality is wonderful, as all interior trim and electronics were tight as new up to the point I sold it. Unfortunately, the engine is its weakness. Awful reliability, and oil burning. Things just went wrong when there was no rhyme or reason for it to.
May 11, 2011The Mazda 6 MPS is all round the perfect car for the average male driver. It is practical , spacious, sporty and most importantly rare. It is a dream to drive, the power is good and the handling superb. No body will know what you are driving so you dont look like any particular owner stereotype. 2.3 L Turbo V6 0-60 time. 5.5 - 6.5 seconds
