I have always liked the PT. I have owned 3 of them and still have the 03 and 05 Dream Cruiser Edition s. I have also owned the comparison HHR, The PT is more stylish and gets more attention. I just wish Chrysler had put more effort into it Oct 06, 2024

I own a 2006 PT cruiser. The basic model. It has served me well, now with 95000 miles the ATM has given the car problems. It wont shift out of low gear and the speedometer doesnt work. I have purchased a rebuilt Module and gone thru the checking of wires and connections. But no change. The rebuilt was to be a plug and play. Doesnt do any thing to fix. What else could be the problem, or how do I fix? ?Feb 19, 2024

Needed belts replaced, felt like motor mounts were loose or possibly a transmission issue, hydraulics on hatch were bad, door locks and windows worked intermittently. Apr 19, 2021
