If you are looking for a well built Germany auto and it needs to do alittle bit of everything you cannot go wrong with the VW golf. I got the car with 90K 4 years ago and now have 156K and other than keeping up with the standard maintance it owes me nothing.Feb 26, 2015

Simply Brilliant,Fast,torquey and still acheives 55mpg,very sure footed handling which is almost impossible to upset no matter how hard you drive it,Has to be one of the best cars on the market for performance, build quality,reliability,and retaining its retail value.2.0 Tdi 6 speed worth the extra money over the 1.9 Tdi.Dec 15, 2011

It is an excellent car for the first 5 yrs in terms of stability, braking, performance, handling, appearance, exterior styling. But all of the above will loose its value after the 5 yrs. Also the car is not durable and the interior building quality is poor. But...By all means this car is fun drive...:))Dec 06, 2010
