awesome car very quick for the ES lancer in my opinion
very good handling along as its dry
good for racing and flying around corners
all in all i would say this car is an amazing piece of machinery and would
recommend it to any one

This car is a nice car. The power is decent from stock, but the torque makes up for
the lack of power. The gear ratio is nice and tight often times makes me wish I had
a 6th gear. Handles the corners like a champ for a FWD. This RA still sits in the

Performance: 0-60 7 sec. Brakes like a dream. Can handle corners at .9g.
dont let the 120hp keep you from buying this. Mitsubishi knows how to gear their cars. This out accelerates several cars with even a v8 under their hood.
Build Quality: Everything is comfortable. Has needed no repairs at all. AMAZING SOUND SYSTEM.
35mpg!!!

good acceleration, little bit underpowered when compared to other rivals, really good handling... it will stick on to the road no matter how sharp the corner is...
interiors are outdated..
maintenance is less but fuel consumption is not great... especillay when you rev it hard....Jul 29, 2010

Lancer is an economic and environment friendly car. Its petrol driven. Acceleration and braking on dubai roads is quite exiting. Parts are easily available. its just AED 40000.00 Its just for a high output amplifier and a 6 cd changer.Mar 18, 2010

its a small sedan with some zip to it easy to modify and very reliable 162 horse 162 torque 0-60 in 8 seconds at best(stock)
low center of gravity easily maneuverable good fuel economy

3)Rear head room since my head touches the roof of civic
02-06.
4)More advanced suspension as compared to competing
vehicles. It has a coiled spring Multi-link Suspension which
is tuned to handle the car superbly and provide relief from
bumps simultaneously!
Dislikes:
1)Once you drive it, it doesn't leave anything to
dislike!!!!!!

i like tuner cars kinda wish i had the MR i like the all wheel drive and mine lacks that. but the oz rally is a pretty good starter car reliable built well. small and good on gas. love it.Aug 08, 2009

waay to slow for me and its an automaitc :(. build quality is nice. appearance is good on the outside but the dash board inside could use some help. cost of ownership is not bad considering i get bout 30 miles to the gallon. even though this car is slow it is very fun to drive because it handles amazinglyJul 23, 2009

Just a super fun car to drive! It handles well, is dependable. It's reasonably priced in terms of maintainance. It has good gas millage if you drive it sensibly. It's a very fun car to drive. I absolutely love it!

Bought car in Aug 08' with 37,000 km. This car handles great and has lots of power and torque. Car seems to be built well - fit and finish is very good. I like the look of the car but it could be improved.
Engine - 2.4L MIVEC I4

Lows: Brake pads make noise when driving
on uneven pavement. Quite quiet at full throttle. It leans a lot trough fast curves, even when I know its not a sport version.
Highs: It gives me real 30 MPGavg!!!. Never fails, and its so roomy for its class. Amazing grip with standard slim tires.Oct 02, 2008

Well, i love my car i have always driven a lancer even my dad he always prefers lancer on any other car of its range.
I love its style and my car has agun metallic colour which is very rare to find.
The only thing i have a problem is its CVT gears, which is beneficial for fuel consumption but the you don't get the accelaration we used to get in the older models.And now it has again been replaced in the latest model.
Which i love it really. Specially the boss sub woofer and those lambo style behind the steering wheel gears.

What can I say when Mitsu says economy they mean it. Out of the Three Mitsubishi Cars Ive owned this one breaks on me more than I would like it to. Ive already had to replace the clutch twice, and I have to replace the Cat converter, fix the A/C , replace break clips, amongst other wear and tear items. On the plus side it is a beautiful white, mitsu never skimps on paint. As always a little low on the HP but makes up for it in torque so launching is a specialty, and the suspension is well set up for a econo car. I can enter and hold corners faster then most people on the road, or maybe thats because Im one crazy SOB!!!May 17, 2008

Excellent car, very reliable, good handling, good stereo, not too many around so you get looks. Suspension could be a bit softer, in the winter tends to get rocks in the struts and makes a clunking sound. Good acceleration for a 2.4L and good on gas. Plus is has a 10 year warrenty.Mar 18, 2008

My family used to own a Gallant, so I was open-minded when a rear-end collision took
out my Cobalt's trunk and let me try another car for a while. While the Schmidt family's
insurance policy repaired my Cobalt, I experienced a poorly built Lancer. The seats are
horribly uncomfortable. The dash is unattractive and unconventional. I don't like the
exterior at all, partly because the body looked so tall and partly because the geometry just
looked weird. Since it was a rental, I had no problem pushing it to the limit. It accelerates
well, but it gets up to a low top speed. Driving to St. Louis from Kansas was not fun in
seats that made me want to see a chiropractor. Don't get one of these.Mar 15, 2008

From day one this car was exciting! From the 162HP/TQ to the EVO Short Shifter to the 6 speaker + 8" SUB 315W Infinity 6+1 in dash sound system, there is absolutly NOTHING I can say negatively about this car. The new body style has nothing on this 04-06 model!Mar 05, 2008
