Good reliable car. 100k miles and still runs great. Leather seats, power everything, CD player, very comfortable. Good looking. Roomy, seats 5 easily, huge trunk. Anti-lock brakes and airbags. A little sluggish in accelerating. Not really 'sporty.' It's a family car. Gas mileage is average at best, 25 highway, 17 city. Feb 18, 2009

This is the vehicle I always hoped to avoid in the Avis car rental fleets. The ride, and driving comfort of this vehicle were atrocious. And this vehicle drinks a lot of fuel, given that its V6 engine only produces barely over 150 horsepower. I don't know what else I can say about the Taurus and Sable except that I've tried to avoid them at all costs.Mar 19, 2008
