For fans of the second-generation Ford Explorer/Mercury Mountaineer, this has all the features: V8 and V6 options, steering mount gear shift, captains chairs in the front. The third-row seating is a bonus. The headlight range is a bit better and the lift gate is a bit weird; but alls good.May 21, 2020

Strong vehicle and great on long drives. Comfortable and plenty of room for large family. I always liked the look, black exterior with leather interior, one of mercury's best vehicles by far. Does not get better than the mercury mountaineer.Jan 15, 2015

This car is very nice to drive. very peppy and powerful. with the feel of a luxury car when you drive it. Seats 7 comfortably. or drop down the 3rd seats for cargo room and if you need more the 2nd set also drops down. This one has all the bells and whistles!!! And with the towing package on it you can pull whatever you want and she will do it. Mar 06, 2012
