Purchased for economy in an SUV. Good steady economy. Very Good power in the 330hp V6. Performance in acceleration, braking and handling in a medium large SUV I believe is not comparied too. Extremely well built for a vehicle. Appearance is excellent inside and was as good as it got in 2004 on the Outside. It can be a good work vehicle, and fine Family car, good for taking long trips, it really is asolid and fun vehicle.
March 27, 2012Best car I ever owned. 213,000 miles and still going strong
July 17, 2023my brother owns this car and I've driven it a few times. He's had the car for a few years and has had absolutely no problems at all. It is a very dependable car. The nice thing about this car is it is a small SUV - not some boxy beast. That said it is pretty roomy inside and can handle a fair amount of stuff in the trunk area.

October 12, 2006This is a low mileage Toyota Highlander that is part of one of the best generations. These are tanks that will last 3 or 4 hundred thousand miles! Frame was solid! V6 engine clean! Felt like I was driving a 4 runner. Highly recommend!
July 21, 2023This SUV runs so smooth! Feels like a brand new car. Air is ice cold. Interior is in-near perfect condition. It’s a Toyota…I don’t expect anything less than greatness!
June 21, 2021Acceleration is ok, but hesitates causing a downshift lunge. breaks are ok unless driving past uic. no repairs needed (unless crashed). appearance is good. too safe to be fun. handling is one of its best features with a good turn radius. suspension on all versions could be a little firmer.
July 26, 2008Never thought about a Toyota until my son bought his Tundra. After riding in it I started paying more attention to the different models. The Highlander fits the bill for me as I have 3 large dogs and need room to take them to the vet, groomers etc. I have plenty of room for them and the comfort and nice ride for myself. Now I have no problem of deciding if I can go to the mountains during the winter months as with the AWD it's not a problem.
May 15, 2007Good family car, but a little bit of a rough ride
