The body style is very "cool" these days. I love the fuel mileage. There is plenty of headroom. It fits is every size parking space with no problem. I would like a larger cargo space and possibly a cargo rack on the roof.

I really like driving this car around town. It is a very comfortable ride. As I have gotten older, I realize that I would love to have more power in a car. Overall, I would really recommend picking up an older model for younger drivers. Great on gas.Jun 26, 2014

When I bought this car, my wife was not pleased. She felt it was too boxy and ugly. After a couple of weeks, she totally fell in love with it. Easy to park, great visibility (almost an SUV's perspective of the road), and loads and loads of cargo space.
The unique style grew on her, and we've enjoyed this car for years now. At over 130k miles, we've definitely gotten our money's worth. Still seeing ~29 MPG regularly.
The whole family will be sad to see this one go.Sep 13, 2012

Plenty of room inside. Great visibility both forward and reverse, no blind spots. Great gas mileage and plenty of room for storage in the back. Great car for the money. I would definitely buy car again. Even the standard raidio is pretty good.Jun 04, 2012

I love the room, and the ease of customization. Acceleration is not that great but who needs it. The car all around is great i use it to get to school, and its a great car to drive. I surf with it to. Gas mileage is great!Aug 21, 2010

i loved the appearance when i bought the car, but after a while without hitting things or overusing the back door, the handle to open the truck just falls off and hangs there, which isn't very appealing. i get decent gas mileage which is good since i drive far for work. everyone who has driven my car thinks its fun to drive like a little go cart they call it. i like the car although they could have made it so stuff doesn't fall off.Jul 26, 2010

I don't care what people think, I LOVE my box! You can't beat the gas mileage of this thing. I think it is super cute. It handles well, just a really light car, so windy days can make it sway a little on the road. fun to drive and overall an inexpensive car to purchase and upkeep. Made by Toyota, so this car should last a while!Aug 12, 2009

It gives you something to talk about. SO roomy its incredible. Cheap on gas at 34~mpg. Got it new for about 14-15000...? Performs well and is easy to handle. I think it's fun to drive, just cause I don't have to work hard. Slow acceleration though.Aug 03, 2009

Performance is good, not great though, 0-60 MPH, is not fast, but it is a car to cruise in, if you really want to race then pimp it out.
Has not broken down yet, it wont, i hope for a loooong time.
Looks are Unique. noting like this anywhere, interior is HUGE, for such a car, much bigger then any car we have. Bunch of space everywhere.
MPG are good, maintenance is good also, pretty cheap to take care of it.
Now i got to tell you, this is my favorite car to drive, from all the cars i ever driven,That's a Fact.
Take a test drive for a day and you might own one yourself.

Lots of style, lots of space, and great gas mileage to boot. The 2004 Scion xB is one of the most versatile vehicles available, and it's fun to drive around town. Get one, you will really like it, I know that I do.Jan 07, 2009

With the TRD springs and shocks, this box handles like no other; the ride is pretty comfortable and firm enough. The stock Pioneer sound system is pretty decent. Safety, what safety! The only downside is the power, it's good for daily commuting, but I wouldn't spend a dime on aftermarket parts to make this any faster cuz it will be a waste of money for this kind of a car. It's roomy everywhere else beside the cargo compartment. Overall, it's gives a good bang for your bucks.Aug 31, 2008

Performance is on par with the 1.5l engine from the Echo. Build quality is everything you've come to expect from Toyota. Naturally some hate the look. I love it. The cost to own is low what with the 30 miles per gallon and the only failed part so far being the lighter. It's definately fun to drive. Plenty of looks with my custom paint and super rare wheels.Aug 27, 2008

very square, slow and good looking
sounds great and rides great
performance wise the 1.5 L isnt very strong but the 100hp gets the job done
hasnt really cost much to own so far just normal maintainence as with every car
very fun to drive, def different than anything else you would drive on the roadJul 28, 2008

My car is gas efficient because it's very compact (read: small). Though it can easily be run over by a trailer truck, it's the cutest thing ever and fits my personality and lifestyle.Jun 19, 2008

The Scion is just a bad car in my opinion. It gets good gas mileage, but thats because it doesn't move very fast at all, it has great head and let room, but it feels like its going to tip over in the corners. great car if you just need to get to point a to point b, but not very quickly.
