The best daily driver that at the same time is a gas saver and a fun car to use on weekends. Awesome supporting community and a future classic for sure. This car gets more smiles per mile than any other in the market.Feb 23, 2015

My experience with this car seems to be better than most reviews I have read. I have had no problems with it at all. It performs very well and has a nice look and finish. It is funner to drive than the vast majority of sports cars and gets decent fuel economy doing so. Jun 21, 2014

This car is truly a joy to own. Everyday when I start it up and hear the pur of the engine and the perfectly tuned exhaust, it reminds me of why I love this car. It handles well and has amazing fuel economy. If you want something that is fun to drive and not a bear to maintain, get a Mini.May 27, 2013

Fun, quick and great handling! Cargo space and rear seats are next to non-
existent. Makes the daily commute to work fun, and fun for track days. Beautiful
interior design, great retro feel (gauges, switches, etc). Overall great if you don't

Good reliable car, I drive a long way to work and it gets good gas mileage, nice finish on the car good options, very well made. dont use the run flat tires they are expencive and ride hard. Overall very good carJan 05, 2013

I had always wanted to test drive a Mini, but never made time to do it .... but i knew that i would enjoy it .... so when my wife saw this 2004 car on ebay, with the 17" wheels, and an auto, which she needed .... for only £3900, i thought it would make an ideal car for her, as she'd just passed her UK test .... So when i drove it for the first time, i knew that i had already bought it ..... Now we both drive it, and i enjoy it, just like my old BMC Mini's.Dec 31, 2012

I love the fuel economy, I love it on twisty country roads, and it is great to park. I also like the color of the rims and the upgraded sound system. Acceleration is good but I would like to put an air intake, chip, and new exhaust on it. Even without that the car is a hoot to drive, good on gas, and plenty of room for three people...I am 6'7".
Braking is sufficient so no complaints there. I always feel safe and in control driving it!
Torque steer is almost unnoticeable. Undetectable in normal driving. The build quality is decent but there are a few pieces of plastic that tend to make noise.Dec 14, 2012

Overall review for me would be 5 stars. I've never had any problems with the vehicle. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Since minis aren't the cheapest car on the market, it's well worth it to put in premium gas and synthetic oil.Mar 21, 2012

Great car to drive. Due to being a bit hefty for a "Mini", more power would be great
(I would recommend the S if you have the money). A beautiful car inside and out.
But don't let the retro design fool you, it drives brilliantly. Handling, braking and
suspension are superb. Basically, the new Mini is a go-kart for adults. If you want a

Acceleration, braking and handling were great. Never had any problem with it for the 4 years I drove it. Until the tires needed to be replaced, which was $200 each...
Gas mileage was ok. Not great.

Performance wise the acceleration is quicker than needed and the handling is
excellent near the racing quality but still a little play and the braking is very
responsive. the gas mileage on this vehicle is excellent but the maintenance can be

Good acceleration, a bit too heavy car though. Bad
quality of plastics inside, really good looking, fun to
drive, hard suspension. A bit too heavy a gas drinker,
maintainance and sevicing too expensive as well.

Its fun, exhillirating, exciting, reliable, stylish, fantastic, tenacious grip - you have to have driven one to appreciate its funness!

This is by far one of the best values. With a supercharged 1.6 l this car has plenty of moving power but with the advantage of a lightwieght body it still manages to get amazing fuel economy. I wish i could by a flock of MINI's and move to the countryside.Nov 09, 2009

modifications necessary, good handling, great
craftsmanship, excellent quality overall, not
economic at all for a car in that category, gas
suspension is unreal when you go on the highway

costs about 20,000 $ people say that is is very
expensive according to its size, but trust me it is

for such a small, economy-minded car, the mini can really zip. it turns great, accelerates as though it has VTEC or a turbo, even though it doesn't, and can stop on a dime. it could and should be more relible, though, and is uncomfortable on very bumpy streets, although surprisingly nice for the passenger on smoother streets.Aug 08, 2009

Performance - pretty good pick up for a 4 banger, handles like a go-cart
Build Quality - only one major repair had to replace xenon headlight it was under warranty.
Appearance - interior & exterior styling is very good.
Cost of Ownership - 25mpg on avg between city & hwy, maintenance has been fairly reasonable synthetic oil & filters are a little much but no too bad.
Fun Factor - It is a blast to drive. I like watching other cars brake going into a tight corner where I just say is that all you got! Jul 20, 2009

Its very breath taking for such a small car. The mini packs a punch with its hidden supercharger. The cost is a bit detering as the mini is a BMW. This car is AMAZING to drive all my friends love it.May 29, 2009

It´s like a FUN go-kart built for the street.... it drives lovely at the raods and even better if it has some curves, it sticks to the road.. The suspension is a little bit hard but any timeyou are behind the weel it doesn´t matter how hard the suspension is.... I LOVE ITNov 28, 2008

Everyone should own a MINI. Good acceleration, excellent handling and more fun to drive than the go-cart it is compared to. I should have gotten the sunroof though, but the next one will be better. The super-charger is okay the turbo is more responsive. Oil changes are scheduled at 15,000 miles, the S comes with run flats and there is no shortage of safety features. Nov 24, 2008

From the moment this car came out of the auto hauler, it was destined for glory. This little car is as close to a street legal go-cart as one can get. Unbeatable build quality, no squeaks or rattles.
Absolutely gorgeous, one of the most unique looking
cars i've owned. Gas mileage is also unbeatable, on
the highway i can get any from 40 and up, low maintenance. Overall the most fun car i've ever
driven. besides my dads 911.

She handles well, can be a bit slow to pull away at times but great for nippy country lane driving as the bends are great fun.
The car needed a new radiator by third year due to a leak which was a manufacturers fault. They have a tendancy to overheat.

It's an oversize go kart, which is fun,..unless you want to bring anything with you.. Size is great for tight parking spaces, roomy "enough" for short trips with *2 people.
Very fun to drive, not for everyone though, stiff ride, steering is sensitive.. But you didn't buy a rolling sofa,..now did you?Aug 24, 2008

looks like a toy car , grip the road very well . a bit bumpy as i'm used to comfort after 10 years away from hot hatches ! plastics are a bit cheap , gearbox does feel fragile for a german motor. as the fuel and running costs are alot lower than the X5 , who cares if its a bit small . Aug 09, 2008

I love my Mini Cooper Convertible !!! It is a fun car and even if it is small you can put a lot of things in it. 4 people can fit, not for 1000 km but for short trips it's fine. My Mini is almost 4 years old and I will keep it for many years. Mini it is definetly LOVE !!Aug 05, 2008

This car has a very special place in my heart. The
handling is just superb. Mine is plane stock,
nothing extra on it, and it handles like a go cart,
much much better anything else in the same
pricerange. I have been going to trackdays with it,
and its so easy to read. Very easy to go very fast
around the bends. Acceleration and top speed is
better than I had hoped for, esspecially when you
consider that it only has 115 BHP and it still does
6.2L/100 KM when outside of the city, in the winter
it only does 9.2L/100km in the city. The looks is
better than the new new mini, the hood is much
nicer with the bigger curves. But the build quality is
not the best. No the typical BMW standart. The
mark.II mini is much better build.
I had it from new, and it still gives me a smile on
my libs. My girlfriend loves it for the looks and the
handling.
I changed the gearbox, the generator, a
computercontrolbox. All under warranty. Oh, yes
and the servo pump as well. This is not okay for a
new car. The price is a lot here in Denmark, actually
is over the top. Very pricy. But still, this is the best

No car is more fun to drive. After 4 years, I still love driving it. Since its a
bas model the it's perhaps a bit underpowered but I've certainly had no
trouble going as fast as I wanted. More power would probably just get
me in more trouble

If you are thinking about buying one of these cars buy the S model. For a little bit more money you gain more option choices,and more horse power. Overall I love my car, and it is if we have our own little group in the world. I haven't met anyone driving a Mini that isn't nice, and ready at the drop of a hat, to talk about their car.Feb 25, 2008

I loved this car. it was bought in Feb 2006 and traded in in Jan 2007. Nothing ever went wrong with it and it never let me down. These are great cars but can be a little small for trips and holidays.Jan 09, 2008
