I love that it's a stick shift, it takes me everywhere I need to go. It's great for where I'm living, super reliable, fits into tight spaces. It's comfortable for fairly long drives. It does tend to get blown around though. Jan 25, 2015

For the size of engine it has good pick up and go as long as the only extra wieght is the driver. Has 0ver 110000 miles other than brake and fluid changes I had to have rear bearings replaced. It is not the prettiest car. men make fun of it and women think it is cute. It is a very nice color however. I get over 30 miles a gallon all the time and usually over 35. I enjoy it for what it is, saves me a lot of money at the pumpJan 09, 2010

it is a great car around town. It is very reliable and has a lot more power than you would think. The fuel economy is unreal but at the same time it isn't that great for a long trip because it does not have cruise control.Dec 08, 2009

This car is great for getting me from A to B. The fuel tank is 35 litres and I get roughly 500km out of a tank, when I use it to commute to work. I enjoy driving it because it has a manual gearbox and is zippy in trafficJun 25, 2009

White 2Dr Echo are rare I found out. Loved it when I saw it 2bd day on lot on internet .immaculate inside. was fleet vehicle for 5 years, low mileage, 2nd owner changed radio to silver radio w/bright blue indicators (sound was terrible) replaced w/updated Toyota Radio/cd player, and upgradrd to Toyota manual remoye mirrors(larger and modern), OEM Fog/driving lights and remote starter/alarm systems on both vehicles, engine compartment on white echo looked like it came off showroom floor.45MPG highway/36 MPG City, Echo emblem on right side on white Echo & left side on gold Echo. added wooden oak dash trim. Made identical upgrades on both vehicles where needed. Total cost about $520.00 parts alone.
Definitely reccommend this car to someone who want a gas saver, but definitely needs cruise control.Dec 10, 2008

It was my First car..and I managed to buy it with my own money before my 20th B'day. Though it is not the best car in the world...It is a car and it did the trick. Took me from place to place. I am glad Toyota Echo was my car.Nov 06, 2008
