The Stratus handles pretty well and has a good amount of power behind it (so I think) it would be nice if it held up a little better. The body on mine is decent but everything started going bad all at once it seems like (A/C went out completely and now it won't start.)Sep 08, 2013

In the two years I owned this car it was in the shop about every third day. Its major faults were the wheel barrings, brakes, and transmission. To make it better my insurance co called it a sports sedan. This 1 car made me never want to buy another Dodge again.Jul 14, 2012

well if it is the 4 cylinder the gas milage sucks but very nice driving car if its a first. Its almost guranteed to rust out at the rocker pannels and hood. Head gaskets are known to go but mine has not and does not leakNov 09, 2009

it was my favorite car.it always ran well, only ever needed to replace the water pump once and the ignition keying once. was cheap and reliable, if i ever get the chance I'd buy it again. I need more words.Oct 27, 2009

performance- acceleration, braking, steering.
appearance- hood scoop and spoiler.
30 mpg.
i payed 2,000 for it.
i love driving it. it has a great stereo system. i have sum amplifiers to install later. it hauls ass. im planing on buying a body kit and a new stereo with a dvd player and 7" monitor. i need to fix the ac and fans.Sep 22, 2008

Quality of the car...some scratches, but overall looks good. Performance is about
average, about 20 MPG, to be expected from the type of car it is(2.5L V6). I pay
for insurance, my parents paid $2500 for it, used from my aunt, with about 94,000
miles(about 100,000 miles currently, owned for almost 2 years). Fun to drive at
times, when gas is cheaper. Has needed quite a few repairs(2 new rear tires, new
spark plugs, battery, fuel injector, had a corroded diode replaced) The rims were
pretty bad but it has driven good for awhile now with no problems at all.Jul 09, 2008

that car is nice. Would recommend for an adults to

Hated the car. The seats had absolutely no bolster whatsoever, so every turn you could feel yourself slipping out of the seat. The entire care felt like it was built by minimum-wage workers who cared nothing for craftsmanship. The handling was horrible, and just overall wasn't real pleased with my dabble in American cars.Jun 08, 2008

Worked well for me, put 66k miles on it in two years building my business. Sold it to my Dad and he still drives it today. As a company car or basic one to and from work, it was great. One tank of gas made it from Charleston, SC to Wesley Chapel near Tampa.May 11, 2008

I loved this car, I was 21 when I bought it. It was black with black tinted windows and chrome rims. It was a hot car. Guys would come up to me on main street and tell me I had a "hot whip" I hope that meant car!!
I totalled it in Virginia Beach 2 weeks after I got it. Shut up Eddie! Now, I've totalled a lot of cars, but this one is the one I really care about!Mar 27, 2008
